The Marketinglist
March 2000
What does your website say about you?
Hello again from CityCenter.
We did a presentation last month on web marketing for the
Pasadena Chamber of Commerce in which we compared a website
to a salesperson. We asked does the look, the content and
the feel of their websites really send out the message their
companies want to send? Does their "salesperson" wear
outdated or garish clothes? Does their salesperson use old
brochures which sell discontinued products or show wrong
prices? Is the salesperson confusing the customer rather
than helping?
Our message? A website/salesperson has to be current to be
effective.
With this in mind we offer a fun little article with a
serious message.

This article proposes a simple exercise to evaluate your website. We wholeheartedly suggest you have someone do this for you. (Yes, we'll do it if you ask nicely.) It could mean a big boost in the Return On Investment for your site.

We hope you find it helpful. Feel free to forward this

the data.
If you have a topic you'd like us to cover, please let us

By the way, things have been quite busy here with new
clients, people calling and e-mailing us for proposals and
current clients wanting updates. This marketing stuff really
works. Call us so we can put it to work for you, too.
